Condition monitoring combined with Artificial Intelligence, may significantly improve maintenance activities in a shop\ufb02oor. Nevertheless, these underlying concepts and technologies are not familiar to the existing workforce and management. <br><br>Skills4PdM project aims to improve the know-how of existing workforce and actively support their re-skilling or upskilling in relation to predictive maintenance as part of a smart manufacturing paradigm, making also available didactic materials to educate them regarding new technologies and challenges of Industry 4.0.<br><br>Skills4PdM targets to bridge the existing gap in the manufacturing workforce&#8217;s skillset to comprehend and benefit from predictive maintenance solutions and policies in their organizations and in the context of Industry4.0. <br><br>Towards reskilling and upskilling competences in relation the maintenance of manufacturing systems and production assets, Skills4PdM targets the creation of a skill-driven self-learning training course to educate professionals, newcomers, students and long-life learners in key principles, methods and technologies of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.<br><br>In addition, the educational content will include experience acquired from other initiatives making available content from real-world predictive maintenance solutions and applications in production systems.<\/p><a class=\"gutentor-button gutentor-single-item-button gutentor-icon-hide\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skills4pdm.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Skills4PdMintro.pdf\"><i class=\"gutentor-button-icon fas fa-book\"><\/i><span>Download Flyer<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"gutentor-block-shape-bottom\"><span><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewBox=\"0 0 1000 100\" preserveAspectRatio=\"none\"><path d=\"M0,6V0H1000V100Z\" transform=\"translate(0 0)\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"gm6348967\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-m4 section-gm6348967 gutentor-module gutentor-advanced-columns has-color-bg has-custom-bg\"><div class=\"grid-container\"><div class=\"grid-row\">\n<div id=\"col-gm1b5d0a\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-m4-col col-gm1b5d0a gutentor-single-column  grid-lg-6 grid-md-12 grid-12\"><div id=\"section-gm1b5d0a\" class=\"section-gm1b5d0a gutentor-col-wrap\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-heading\">Skills4PdM Approach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skills4PdM will identify interesting parties, including employees, students, professors and long-life learners, to the key enabling technologies of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, for them to better understand the options, the technologies needed, and how to measure the e\ufb00ectiveness of their decisions with respect to predictive analytics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to exposing key identified audiences to the principles and methods for enabling predictive maintenance policies in an organization along with the necessary education material, target groups will learn about real-world applications stemming from two concluded H2020 projects, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/serena-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">SERENA<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uptime-h2020.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">UPTIME<\/a>, and EIT-M project RAMEN which will serve as the basis for other successful maintenance applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skills4PdM will design end-to-end courses, composed of several nuggets regarding predictive maintenance in Industry 4.0, including video tutorials for the theoretical presentation of the topic, hands-on exercises, and testing in the testbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will provide a set of educational material targeting di\ufb00erent audiences and skillsets, enriched with the results and knowledge of past H2020 projects and applications, targeting the knowledge transfer across both the academic and industrial world via the EIT-M supporting tools as well as via PdM Teaching &amp;
